Sustainability

Since inception, drvn has focused on minimizing its carbon footprint in our own offices, our projects, and in the communities we serve. We started with our office by 1) going paperless, 2) buying recycled consumable, and 3) actively promoting remote work (a fan favorite), which has the added benefit of cutting down unnecessary transportation and the need for larger carbon-footprint offices.

Fifty years ago, in industry-polluted cities and towns, carbon credits would have been a laughable idea. Today, they are the cornerstone of sustainability programs, including drvn’s. We abide by the EPA’s (Environmental Protection Agency) carbon emission guidelines and recommendations. To help achieve carbon neutrality, we purchase carbon credits equal to the carbon expelled for each mile we drive.

Sustainability is a group effort. As we speed towards carbon neutrality, many of drvn’s sustainability initiatives are accomplished through partnership. From our drivers, whom we incentivize to purchase or lease HPEVs or EVs, to our suppliers, our corporate sponsorships, and companies evaluating sustainability in our industry, sustainability is part of all our full-time jobs.

drvn is on its way to becoming a carbon neutral and Terrapass certified company. Our target to achieve this important milestone is Q4 2024.
